Mammoplasty - Breast Reduction
We'll make you smile
Breast reduction is a surgical procedure designed for women with large symptomatic pendulous breasts. Also known as Mammoplasty, breast reduction aims to remove the fat, glandular tissue and skin from the breasts — allowing them to appear smaller, feel lighter and firmer.
Mammoplasty as a cosmetic surgery can also reduce the size of the areola. The main goal of breast reduction is to provide women with smaller, better-contoured breasts that are in perfect proportion with the rest of their body.
We have built a reputation based not only on positive surgical results, but the focused attention, respect and professionalism we maintain in our service delivery to all our patients.

Breast Reduction Procedure
Individual factors and personal preferences will determine the specific technique selected to reduce the size of your breasts.
The most common method of reducing the breasts involves three incisions. One incision is made around the areola. Another runs vertically from the bottom edge of the areola to the crease underneath the breast. The third incision follows the natural curve of the breast crease.
After the surgeon has removed excess breast tissue, fat and skin, the nipple and areola are shifted to a higher position. The areola, which in large breasts usually has been stretched, also is reduced in size. Skin that was formerly located above the nipple is brought down and together to reshape the breast. Liposuction may be used to improve the contour under the arm.
After the Procedure
One day after Breast Reduction Surgery
Your breasts will be bandaged for support for one to two days after breast reduction surgery. The swelling and bruising will subside during this period.
One week after Breast Reduction Surgery
The bruising may last for two to three weeks. The stitches used will eventually dissolve. Take a shower daily. Continue to wear the supportive bra day and night. Increase activity level but do not exercise or drive.
One month after Breast Reduction Surgery
You will be able to resume your normal routine and activities within a few weeks following breast reduction surgery. However it is highly advisable to avoid lifting heavy objects or do strenuous workout for 3 to 4 weeks or more.
